Dextrose - 25% - 1 bottle

Dextrose 25% IV solution (1 bottle) is a concentrated glucose solution for intravenous administration in veterinary patients. It is used primarily to treat hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar), provide caloric supplementation, and as a diluent for other injectable medications.

Composition: Dextrose (D-Glucose) 25 g per 100 ml (25% w/v).

Indications: Hypoglycaemia in neonates, diabetic emergencies, and post-surgical patients. Caloric supplementation in anorexic patients. Hepatic encephalopathy management. As a vehicle or diluent for compatible injectable drugs.

Directions for Use: Administer intravenously by slow infusion by a qualified veterinarian. The concentration and infusion rate must be calculated based on the patient's condition, weight, and blood glucose levels. Must be diluted before use in most clinical situations.
